Astrolabe is a new publishing house of french bande-dessinée and graphic-novel, with an international focus. After 15 years of collaborating with brilliant international authors, Astrolabe is the culmination of a long journey. We place the genres at the heart of our catalog, with the ambition of providing, during a reading, a sense of escape—whether liberating or terrifying. The resurgence of fantasy genres has often echoed times of deep crisis. Thus, without seeking to distract from the essential, the genre and its allegories nourish readers with meaning and, at times, even with answers.

Astrolabe was born out of our desire to build on the special relationships we’ve cultivated with some of the biggest names in international comics over the past 15 years, by inviting these creators to collaborate directly on their upcoming projects.
We are therefore delighted to welcome James TYNION IV Sean MURPHY, Ram V, Matteo SCALERA, Filipe ANDRADE, Dan WATTERS, Jorge CORONA, Richard BLAKE and Mattson TOMLIN to this new publishing venture!
Astrolabe will also provide an opportunity for new talent to be published, starting with Léo Chérél, a young author from Nantes whose imagination is drawn to the open sea and adventure, as well as for established authors such as Frederik PEETERS, Serge LEHMAN, Sylvain REPOS, Kid TOUSSAINT, Stephen DESBERG, Merwan CHABANE and Vincent BRUGEAS.
